ABSTRACT

National Analyst, Inc. was contracted to interview groups of women who have used the government supported family

planning programs in over 30 locations in an attempt to evaluate and establish improved and more effective family

planning services. All the women who have agreed to be interviewed have used an Office of Economic Opportunity

family planning clinic sometime during the last 2 years. This volume concentrates on data gathering instruments

and presents 13 questionnaires that are used along with manuals for the clinic user and area probability studies, and

show cards associated with both project and clinic services questionnaires and clinic user and area probability

questionnaires. The 3rd section gives information on how to complete and code the call report form. Parts 4 and 5

present general and question-by-question interviewing instructions. Part 6 discusses answers for the reluctant

respondent and the last section focuses on validation of each interview in order to assure its use as a representative

part of the sample. (PubHealth.info Document ID: CONT8T 67-06)
