ABSTRACT

In 74 women the IUDs Dana Super (64 cases) or the Lippes loop (10 cases) were inserted. No cases of uterine

perforation, adnexitis, or spontaneous expulsion were observed. This method achieved a level of efficienty of 5.0 Only

3 of the Dana-Super-type devices had to be removed because of excessive bleeding and pain. This method of
