ABSTRACT

A review of contraceptive practice in Sweden is presented using data on 292 women who sought a legal abortion in

1980. The data suggest that although most women practiced a form of contraception, only about one third used a

contraceptive method correctly. Variations in contraceptive practice and effective contraceptive practice are

considered by age. (PubHealth.info Document ID: CONT5T 2054-06)
